I'm starting to think this isn't about appearance. I think this might be about who has been "out there" in the public's eye and their "work" this year.

As for Blake Lively being the most desirable, it's completely debatable.

Regardless of her "desirability," Lively is garnering rave reviews for her performance in The Shallows. I watched it today and she deserves all the praise she's getting; it's an excellent performance in a stellar summer movie.

Blake was a perfect choice for this.

It's hilarious how people react and then post pictures of who they think should have gotten it (Carrie Underwood???) instead.

Seriously, People magazine's sexiest man issue isn't scientific either. Choosing Blake for most desirable makes perfect sense.

She's beautiful, blonde, the California girl everyone wants to meet and she's sort of the current "it girl" of "hotness" in Hollywood.

Get my entire family together and nobody can agree on anything, but they all, including my 90 year grandfather will all say, "that Blake Lively sure is hot."

You should grow a pair and quote the person who did the bumping directly. Not everyone lives on here and checks the date. Most see a threat at or near the top and assume it's recent. Especially since Blake and her bikini are starring in a terrific new shark movie.
