Amazon is frequently incorrect on details, particularly with items that have yet to be released, so I'd take that with a grain of salt.

There's no way this pack will have 4 discs. Each movie has it's own disc. So it will probably be 2 discs or if Paramount decides to put both movies on 1 disc.

So this is definitely going to be a single case release? How do we know it isn't two seperate releases shrink-wrapped together, and the 'box art' that's posted is just a paper insert?

There's been no confirmation, so everyone here is guessing. Other Paramount dual releases however appear to be two separate releases packaged together, not a single-case release, so I don't know where the prior two posters got their supposedly infallible information.

Preordering this on Amazon, if it is a single case I will just send it back.

Also, if it is 2 cases, they need to make a Saving Private Ryan/Forrest Gump double feature as well!

Here's a pic of the back of the cover art.

And according to DVD Empire, it will be a 2 disc set

Actually, looking at the special features, it looks like it will be a four-disc release. Those features listed are found on the second disc of each film.

Indeed, more and more evidence that this is the two regular releases shrink-wrapped together with special feature discs included.

It comes out Tuesdays right? I'm surprised there aren't any physical copies in somebody's hand somewhere, right now. Either this or the Godfather 2-pack, should put this speculation to bed.

A great deal since it looks like these are just both of the regular releases together, but I'll still pass since I already own Braveheart. I'll continue to wait on a sale for Gladiator.

Will each film have its own case and slipcover?

I think each case will not have it's own slipcover but both cases might be housed in one fat slipcover. Just like Waynes' World/Wayne's World 2 Double Feature Pack.

have you seen the Wayne's World 2-Pack? I assume all these Paramount two-packs are identical in design.

I think that settles things. Gonna buy the hell out of Braveheart/Gladiator.

The HELL out of them.

It's a shame that I already have both of these... or is it?! Mwahahahahahaha!

Surprised at how many people haven't seen one or the other.

Maybe they took a break after American Beauty to find out why they can only get a decent transfer out the door half the time. I bought American Beauty and it might be the only Blu-ray I regret paying for. What a godawful, noisy, harsh, grating transfer.

Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, remastered Gladiator and Forrest Gump are all awesome, I'd love to see more Sapphire releases like that, but if they're just going to crap on my favorite movies I would rather they took a break for a while.
