That was my mistake - the game takes about six hours according to Game Informer's review. A lot of people are saying the game doesn't appear to be worth $60 and they will be waiting for a price drop. That's why I think they would have sold more copies with a lower price. This just doesn't seem like the kind of game that stays full price for very long. That's just my opinion.

That's cool. Everyone has their own opinion. My main reason for getting the game is because it's made by Grasshopper Manufacture. I loved Shadows of the Damned and I think that was extremely underrated. From what I can tell, I suspect the same about this game. I feel like I love games most people hate .

Estimated game hours are always way, way lower than what I get from a game, even when I don't try for trophies. I never use that to decide whether to buy a game. Actually, games that are too long annoy me more than those that are too short. It's a game, not a lifestyle.

Not for me. Sometimes I think 20 hours is short. But the thing is, the game would likely take longer than 6 hours if you try to complete everything the game has to offer. Like No More Heroes has a ton of stuff to do besides the main story.

A 6 hour game might take me 20 hours. I figure the 6 hour estimate is someone playing normal difficulty in a linear fashion That's fine. 120 hours is too long, though. I'm ready for it to be done by then.

I also thought Shadows of the Damned was great, and that is the only read reason I pre-ordered this.

I have games where the time counter says like 300 hours of gameplay time. (though that's only on a few games since most of my multiple ending games usually are only between 60-200 hours depending on the amount of endings and how much repeated scenes there are that I would need to fast-forward through with the Skip feature).

I just meant personally, Denoku, I certainly wouldn't want to speak for you or anyone else. It has good features, I'm just a trifle worried about the gameplay. It's a little shallower than I expected.

Oh, I know. I was just saying I'm liking it so far. I've only completed the first chapter but I think the combat does get better when you get some more combos.

Did not play long, but it looks good for Shadows of the Damned fans. Checkpoint was not favorable to me on first attempt.

Ha, did you do the same as me and quit? I got all the way to the first boss and I quit to change a costume, then I go back and I had to start the whole level over!

I'm glad that this is a "short" game, I want to finish it on 1 sitting (with breaks, of course)
