Default Lollipop Chainsaw - Grasshopper action game

http://www.next-gen.biz/news/suda51-...lipop-chainsaw

Quote:
The head of Grasshopper Manufacture, Goichi "Suda51" Suda, has told Famitsu what to expect from his next project, Lollipop Chainsaw, first revealed earlier this year. True to Grasshopper form, it's a melée combat game for PS3 and Xbox 360 which casts players as Juliet Starling, a skimpily clad cheerleader tasked with ridding a west coast high school of a zombie infestation using a chainsaw. "Instead of sprays of blood, we have zombies emitting bursts of pink light," explained Suda, who already claims to have found a publisher to release the game in the west. "When it comes to gore, we can certainly go that way if we want, but we wanted to give the game more of a 'pop' feel." Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka is working on the game's soundtrack, with Suda teasing: "Part of the gameplay might involve sound as well, although exactly how we're still keeping secret."

I have my copy pre-ordered through Best Buy so I can get the goth costume plus I know I will enjoy some of the in-game costumes like the Is This A Zombie? costume, Highschool of the Dead school uniform, and the Deadman Wonderland outfit.

I preordered from Amazon, because it gets delivered to my house and Best Buy is out of my way. Should be a ton of fun and laughs. I'll actually have a near game backlog again after not having one for months.

Well technically mine was on bestbuy.com, but still able to get the pre-order DLC. Though I do have a couple of Best Buy stores near me and usually visit at least 1 of them once a week.

It's NEVER, and I mean NEVER as much fun later when the price has dropped. Funness has value.

Actually it's made by Grasshoper Manufacture, which are the makers of No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned.

This looks like it could be entertaining for a few hours. I'm expecting the price to drop sharply, though - especially if Amazon already has it discounted on the release date. This might have sold better with a lower price point. These days, people expect more than four hours out of a $60 game.

How do you even know how many people bought the game? It just came out today. So I think it's a little early to say "might have sold better.." Plus, I don't see why it should have a lower selling price than any other game. And who said the game is only four hours?

Could it be the same market as Dragon's Dogma where female pawns outnumber male pawns by about 10:1, and many of the are running around in panties, short skirts, bras, camisoles and corsets?
