That's good news. I've been waiting for this

And what's your point? I said for those who cared. If you're not one of those, why bother responding? If you're rolling your eyes because I'm bringing up that old deal (that many people missed because it was late, and random), then too bad. I don't have to hide that I got a good deal, do I?
Rolling my eyes that you haven't even seen Goonies.

There is a song titled The Goonies 'R' Good Enough by Cyndi Lauper made for the film since she was the musical director.

The Goonies 'R' Good Enough

here we are hanging onto strains of greed and blues
break the chain then we break down, oh, it's not real if you don't feel it
unspoken expectations, ideals you used to play with they've finally taken shape for us

what's good enough for you is good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah
what's good enough for you is good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

now you'll say you're startin' to feel the push and pull
of what could be and never can, you mirror me stumblin' through thise
old fashioned superstitions, i find too hard to break, oh maybe you're out of place

but it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah
what's good enough for you is good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah

but it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah
what's good enough for you is good enough for me
it's good enough, it's good enough for me
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Who cares? There are thousands of other movies that I have seen. I seem to be doing alright today even without having seen the Goonies...

I bought the swag box set when it was released. I don't even remember what I paid for it. I know I got a good deal. Lol. It's still sealed sitting on my shelf.

Damnit, I should've known! I just purchased the UK version not too long ago, the transfer is excellent but I can't stand those rating logos on the front cover. Double dip, much?

Dammit, I just imported for $16.

Not to expensive but the case looks bad on my case of US blurays.

Thumbs up

I bought the expensive one when it was on sale for like $30. So unfortunately I got the swag pack that I have no use for. Still it's one of my favorites and I'm happy to see it released with just the movie!

Just keep in mind that the movie was targeted towards kids/family in the 80s, so you'll be watching it 26 yrs later as an adult! it may not "work" for you. Not even sure if it's something today's 8-12 yr olds would enjoy...

My two younger brothers in that age range sure did. Some movies are timeless and Goonies is one of those.

My 5 year old daughter just watched it for the first time last month, and she's asked to watch it again 2-3 times since then. So it's pretty universal. Aside from maybe the fashion, nothing in that movie is terribly dated.

No, he's not trolling. He even said he blind bought it but just hasn't watched it yet. I was jokingly giving him a hard time about having never seen it, and somehow that escalated with others chiming in and him defending himself.
Just be happy that he'll soon watch it, and we'll have another fan
