Also I beleive the U.S. soldiers where in this war, as it was related towards WWII, in which US soldiers where sent overseas to fight the enemy where they are, which is the Chimera where in the US, I would doubt we would have soldiers over in UK.

Dont you think if they can get here from another world that they should be able to cross an ocean? If Hale gets arrested (and I DO believe it was by US agents) that while hes in captivity that the chimera could have spread to the US? Thus game 2 is all about freeing NA and game 3 he goes back to Europe and finishes them off for good.

Still speculation of course, but Im sure many would agree that this scenario is entirely possible.

I am little dissapointed with the suggested story as well.. as 1 kinda left off going into Europe with no mention of continental U.S., kinda looks more like a story rewrite to reach largest target market of gamers..

Also not too big on vehicles, part of what I liked online Resistance was the all man to man online action, vehicles can ruin that.. look at Socom series.. some series depend on vehicles, like warhawk... I guess we will see hoe the implement it, hopefully it does not take away from the good man to man battles..

They incorporated Camborne and Westmorland into the game more, instead of having "Map Pack Mayhem". That's about all. But sadly, they didn't fix the bullseye so it only had 3 tags.

Nope, they are alien in orgin. During the end game credits it says something to the effect that no aliens where harmed during the making of the game.

OK guys, my two pence on this thing is that we may see a sequel where Hale returns as the central character going to either the US or Russia, at the end of the 1st game he voluntarily goes when he could've chucked the grenade.

Although we don't actually know the country the black ops are or i just need to check again, i would have to say they are US funded, i come to this guess because of their suits and equipment they use, i also beleive that the reason the black ops wear masks are because they later mutate, why else would you have three eye visors on your helmet

DO NOT at any point confuse the cloven as being the same as the black ops, the wear different clothes, whatever the game will be like, increascing map size would be a thing to look at when they introduce vehicle's and IF they do.

Insomniac have just finished Ratchet so this could be the next game they are working on, all you should really need to know is THIS, the game will be bigger, badder, kick A$$ and look amazing graphically, expect it to be called a Halo clone when it'll probably be better

I really liked the idea of them being mutants. It was a fresh spin to the "Human vs. Aliens Halo" thing. Mutation/Nuclear experiments would also have been a timely theme for the 1950s, which is when the game takes place, and I for one would have loved a tie in with the game and 1950s events (obviously events before the chimera invanded, after would not make to much sense).
