WOW!

Bought this game yesterday and I'm completely blown away by it! Amazing playability, sound and graphics. It's already stolen many hours of my life and it doubtlessly will do more.

If this is the standard of games to expect on the PS3 then I'll probably play more games than watch Blu-ray movies.

Did make me laugh a bit though, especially at the opening; set in 1951 it supposedly is.

Double yellow yines? Introduced 1958, and then only in London. Went national a couple of years later.

Speed limit signs? Speed limits were introduced in 1967 in the UK.

Wheelie bins?! About 1995!

Plastic illuminated keep left island signs! Early 80's maybe?

LOL! Great game besides though. Anyone played it? Couldn't find a mention on the search.

all i have to say is that the game is sick. stole 9 hrs from my friends and i one sat not long ago. then again, first time through and we're trying to beat it on hard. not the easiest task given that we don't have any of the advanced weapons.

This game is like my god. Also my friends say the same. It's compared to Gears but to tell you I don't really like gears. I mean the special things you can do are great but I keep trying to crouch and I can't. (don't own an 360, played with others) Plus the game is a lot longer and in my eyes I love the guns and it's much more fun. This is the first game where I actually injoy dying! HAHAHAHA.

This game is addicting and I'm not into shooters much. But I will have to agree, it is funny what you pointed out. What's even funnier I think is when the soldiers curse. LOL. Gameplay is right on as well and stole a lot of my time when it first came out. Ended up beating it on every difficulty. It's a challenging game and has lots of replay value.

Now compared to gears. Well both games are different. Style of gameplay is more technical with Gears.

I played Gears of War drunk and it was a pain. Sober on the other hand was really fun. Resistance is a lot easier when your drunk and playing. A tad funner when on the tap. lol.

Back on track though, Resistance has solid gameplay. The slo-mo headshots rock.

Best game i've played in years completed it in a couple of days.. amazing gfx and gameplay I hadn't enjoyed a shooter in a long time until now.

Might have to try it's online mode soon!

I get scared when I go in and check the 'stats' section of my soldier for online play...I can't believe the # of rounds I've played (though my wife does).

Great game; have beaten in on all difficulty levels w/ all skills points acquired. Online play is awesome!

Glad it's not just me who loves this game. I've always been into driving games and little else, this has completely changed my outlook on gaming.

I absolutely adore this game, definitely the best on release I would say.

I think FEAR is also very good online, partially because they're very similar!
