But, yes, the Strangers On A Train cover art...who came up with that?!!! Granted, the original movie poster art was lame, too... ![]() but here was a foreign poster that was good: ![]() or they could incorporate this picture in the cover art: ![]() |

![]() ![]() I was fine with the placeholder images for it on amazon UK, though it's still not that great, at least it's more Hitchcock-esque ![]() As for Dial M, I saw nothing wrong with the original cover/poster art for that. It's one of the more iconic images from Hitchcock I'd say, so it's dumb that they didn't take full advantage of it. There are so many possibilities for it, yet they went with something kind of mediocre with annoying 3D in your face. It is much much better than Strangers on a train at least |

I am very happy...but also a little disappointed and frustrated as I was hoping Warner would release a Boxset along with their other titles.
I think they will be releasing a boxset later on...I just can't see them ignoring their other Hitchcock titles on Blu-ray....so I am not sure whether to buy or to wait. |

Suspicion, Mr & Mrs Smith, Stage Fright, Strangers on a Train, I Confess, Dial M for Murder, The Wrong Man & North by Northwest. Maybe they'll do a deal to include Under Capricorn or Lifeboat or To Catch a Thief. |

my dream of seeing the original DMFM in 3D on bd is coming true. I always hoped and prayed Warner would prepare some original 50's 3D releases for release on 3D blu-ray and thankfully they are doing just that.
I remember when DMFM disappeared after Warner had mentioned it was coming, and I felt at the time that 3D had to be the reason. so happy I was right. can't wait for these 2 titles and House of Wax also. GREAT job Warner Brothers!!! ![]() ![]() |

As excited as I am to see these coming to BD, I think it means the chances of BDs of the other Warner Hitchcocks are almost nil now.
Suspicion, The Wrong Man, Stage Fright, I Confess and Mr & Mrs Smith are great films, but sadly don't have the wide recognition of Dial M and Strangers. At least Foreign Correspondent made its way to Criterion, since Warner only briefly had the rights from Castle Hill. Last edited by James Luckard; 06-22-2012 at 05:52 PM. |

Oh and it really sucks that the MSRP is MORE for Dial M For Murder because of the 3D-BD,while Strangers On a Train has the better features but is less. Last edited by TNAJason; 06-22-2012 at 06:11 PM. |
