It actually makes the decision to give Universal North by Northwest look rather dumb considering they already have a decent arsenal here to have their own collection set, whivh would no doubt sell like hotcakes.

ok, great news about that the movie is coming on Blu-Ray but the Cover one time more is terrible. Why they do this the whole time with those Classic movies. It sucks. It looks cheapy as It doesn't have to do with this movie.
They want have it modern, like a new movie... than young people buying this movie? Oh, it really sucks. I'm beginning to think to creating my own Cover based on the original Poster motives. |

The page also lists Strangers aspect ratio as "1.77 to 1", it should read 1.37 to 1. (the Academy Ratio that all Hollywood films were shot in up to the early fifties)
The back of the BD's case lists the video as 1080p 1.37 to 1. ![]() Thanks for the corrections. ![]() |

Honestly both titles deserved Digibook releases... but not with that cover art
![]() I have now lost all faith in WB's to deliver tasteful interesting clever artwork. the days of using the Poster artwork or likeness is just a memory. Last edited by PowellPressburger; 06-22-2012 at 01:58 PM. |

This is incredible. Practically all of Hitchcock's Hollywood output has been accounted for this year - the major titles at least.
The Dial M For Murder cover isn't as bad as Strangers on the Train no, but the huge '3D' logo is as mentioned annoying. These aren't as bad as the MGM Hitchcock covers earlier this year, though. Most importantly, here's hoping the A/V presentation on these is great. |

But, yes, the Strangers On A Train cover art...who came up with that?!!! Granted, the original movie poster art was lame, too... ![]() but here was a foreign poster that was good: ![]() or they could incorporate this picture in the cover art: ![]() |
