Anyone not own Pirates of the Caribbean yet? - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

These were among the first movies I bought on blu, and have #3 pre-ordered. These are the only movies I have watched the extras on.

Didn't own until today. No brainer at this price. Did the Amazon BOGO for both, along with 6 other titles.

I bought both POTCs. Just got back from BB where they had 2 40" Samsungs set up side by side one playing The Wild on reg. dvd and the other playing The Wild on blu-ray. This display was in the main aisle about 25 feet from the entrance.There was a total of 3 blu-ray displays and only 1 hd dvd display.

PoTC 1+2 were among the first couple of BLUs I bought when I got my player.

Can't wait to get At World's End in December.

I bought the first one, the second one isn't as good. Have yet to see the 3rd one.

I don't own either yet - I'll probably wait until the have the trilogy available as one package and then drop the dough.

It will likely be more money and the only difference might be a fancy cardboard box.

Does anyone know if they are going to release a 3-pack when the third one comes out? And doesn't the second pirates on blu-ray have some scenes that weren't transferred correctly(frames that cut off some of the picture)?

I didn't overly enjoy them in the theater.. and they kind of confuse me. But I decided to buy 1/2 awhile back and watching them both over a few days I REALLY enjoyed them a lot more than I remember/thought I would. Never had a movie do that before!

I got Pirates 2 like 3 weeks ago, and got Pirates 1 at Best Buy for free cause if their buy one, get one free promotion (Thanks BDA!!) I also pre-ordered Pirates 3 over the weekend.

...haven't seen any of them yet though.

In the first "Black Pearl" the first fight scene between Depp and Bloom has some slight framing issues, but not a big deal really. It's just a second or 2.
