I think i'll be getting this first assuming the same great prices for this as other pre-orders are being offered and definitely a better price than importing from Amazon.de

May get the Amazon.de version though should it go on offer sometime

I have to slightly disagree. While I did enjoy the movie, how many times can I see Cahrlize Theron make a slow menacing movement in one film add Prometheus to that and sheesh I can swear all she does is the slow move. I mean don't get me wrong shes hot but give me a bit more.

and Kristen Stewart has one face

SO far I already have the DE version pre-order and signed up for notification on this one but I'm willing to bet these will have the same artwork. The box set from Amazon DE has a nice looking one

small update that this is also now listed on Play.com without any price atm just like Amazon but nice to know it's retailer wide. Might give hope to more competitive pricing.

Not bad but i dunno, i wasn't thinking Theron would be on the front cover tbh. Maybe i was hoping for something different to Amazon.de but not quite this . Still, variation is nice i guess

Why?

The steelbook is a retailer wide release not an exclusive.

I agree, this should just be the main thread just as we would with an exclusive. The reason being the artwork seems identical for both retailers atm and unlike Wrath of the Titans, we don't have a country speration to justify two threads even if the artwork was similar

If there were a second thread I would say it would belong in the "Collectibles and Limited Editions" forum, rather than this Steelbook Sub Forum. But thats just me.

The Play boxset is most likely the same as the Amazon.de version. And like Universals Scarface Box set, will just contain the exact same steelbook as the seperate release.

XD

It's €79.99 on Amazon.de Seems quite steep for a snowglobe and bits of paper

But looks nice all the same. Hopefully not a let down like the flimsy cardboard box that scarface came in.

I like the artwork a lot, so for the right price (most likely around $30 shipped) I'll probably blind buy this
