considering gambling is legal there and Donald Trump just built a in HUGE hotel casino. There are some pretty large cities in WV, maybe not AS large as New York, but in Jason Takes Manhatten you only really saw a few city blocks anyway.

If their in the city it's not as much danger. When out in the woods or where ever else there's no one else to help or chance to get to weapons. In the cities its easier to get weapons and kill the deformed hillbillies.

I wouldn't go that far, but I loved the fourth film as well. I think of the films, this one best captured that '80s slasher movie vibe.

I will definitely be picking up the fifth film. I hope Fox releases another coupon, like they did with part four last year.

Wow! I still have to find the 4th movie at a decent price.
It's really an underated franchise.

Part 4 was a prequel...

Now, is Part 5 a sequel of Part 4 or a sequel of Part 3? !

From what I've read, it is a sequel to Part 4, so it is another prequel to the first 3 movies.

I personally think Wrong Turn 2 is if not the best, one of the best DTV horror sequels to a theatrical movie ever.

What? Wrong Turn 4 was worse than Wrong Turn 3, and they had the audacity to make another sequel? the franchise is not getting any better.

Actually, from what I remember, I think just the first 5 minutes or so of Bloody Beginnings is a "prequel". The rest takes place in present time.

So if part 5 follows part 4 directly, then it should take place in present time as well.

The first 5 minutes are the prequel to the prequel.

One-Eye and Saw Tooth are alive in 4 so the movie takes place before the events of part 1.

I loved the first two, the third and fourth were OK. Will see the new one. I love that it takes place on Halloween. Will be fun to watch in October.

Personally I really enjoy this franchise. I mean the original was obviously an attempt to rip of "The Hills Have Eyes" in a different setting - it was an effectively jumpy/entertaining film.

The first sequel I have to agree is one of the best DTV horror sequels I have ever seen. I remember in college my roommate and I rented it expecting a horrible movie and couldn't believe afterwards that it was actually scary/effective and wasn't cheap looking.

Now part 3 I have to admit is horrible. The story is stupid, the pace is sh*t, the characters are beyond idiotic and the effects make "Power Rangers" look like an Academy Award winner.

So to be honest I was very skeptical of part 4 when I heard about it. But after the reviews started coming in I took a chance and actually bought it on release day and I have to admit its one of the BEST BLIND BUYS I have ever made. Almost as good as the original and it actually has a few scary/jumpy parts and the character development is actually good enough that you give a sh*t about half the characters.

So obviously I can't wait for part 5!

I went to the movies without an idea of what I wanted to see, and I ended up in Wrong Turn 1. I don't think I've ever been angrier at filmmakers than that wretched, humorless, amateurish and unpleasant little movie made me. It was like a cretin saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre and said, "hay! Eye kun doo dat two!" i still want my $8.50 back. I cannot conceive of a sequel that could possibly be worse than the first.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the granddaddy of nasty, humorless, hammer-to-the-head kind of filmmaking. Wrong Turn may be derivative but it was nowhere near as repulsive as any of the Saw films or Eli Roth's torture porn.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a horror movie that turned into a black comedy halfway through. From "Look what your brother did to the front door!" to the end, it was played subtly for laughs. Toby Hooper is a very clever guy and a good director. There wasn't a single laugh in Wrong Turn. Wall to wall cheap and ugly. Hack work in every sense of the word.
