I guess I do not read enough from the HD-dvd side to see that they point out ever issue that Blu-ray has to think this is a big deal. Is this a big debating point for them?

Not so much a debating point as a talking point. On that site and AVM$ you can point to any real or perceived problem with Blu-Ray and every HD supporter comes out from under their rock to comment. But make on bad comment about HD DVD, regardless of your proof, and your crucified.

Yes, that is probably why both sides should probably just not talk too much about the technical issues (not to mean that the technical abilities should ot be discussed). It will only be a matter of time before it is "your turn" to have the issues.

I'm a member of both those other sites but seldom spend much time there unless a link from here leads me over there. The technical issues that can be fixed via firmware updates just just be left alone as it is going to happen for a while unfortunately.

if you think that's terrible, look up the treatments for priapism.

hint: aspiration involves a needle.

the OP on HDD's post definitely is troll-ish, but no more so than the 6 bajillion posts from HD DVD zealots that flooded HDD after the problems with FF4-2 etc surfaced.

i think that if the red ants are willing to dish out the *****ing re: BD problems, they should be prepared to eat an equal measure of *****ing about HD DVD problems.

It's pretty obvious to me that whatever program they're using to lay the cookies, or the quality of the flash memory to store them is pretty piss poor, because we're constantly hearing of these problems

As more web-enabled titles show up, wait till you have one title that cookies, pukes, so you delete your memory, new title works fine, next time you put in old title, cookie pukes, now new title lays yet another gooseegg.....

Is that the new "interactive" feature they're bragging about?

yup, you need to interact with it a lot in order to get it to play. It is also more exciting then watching a movie. You invite your friends and you don't know if it will play, not play or autodestruct

Instead of Alan Bell commenting about Blu-ray, I think he should tend to business in his own backyard.

More Transformers problems on yet another forum (read about it here…………..

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=924811

that is, until the mods marginalize the problem by hiding it in the giant Transformers thread)………………..
