You mean scales to 1024x768p. Your plasma is a progressive device, no interlacing should be necessary.

Yes I know. That is what I use my receiver for. It is not the biggest draw back, but it could potentially become one.

5x1 HDMI switchers!!! & Panisonic means perfection i would take 1 over any other HDTV's there just that good

Yes Sonny, do you have any brand preference at all? I guess, if you were to name one brand name as your favorite for television manufacturing, what would it be?

on a side note, the new Panasonic 32" LCDs have a 120 hz processor in them.

The manual says that through HDMI it will accept and display 1080P, but not through component. I assume this means that XBOX users are SOL...
