I think that the reason Par and Uni are getting so much, shall we say "lack of love", is because they basically, for all intents and purposes, took a bribe to be exclusive to DUD. As a consumer, Blue aside, I don't like to see this kind of business practice. The same thing is happening in our govt. (US) and is why our economy is in the crapper. Beuna Vista, Fox, and LG are exclusive because they looked at the formats, and based their decisions on the fact that Blu-ray is the better product, has room for growth, and will (of course) make them money. So, in all "fairness", I think Par and Uni are getting just what they so rightfully deserve.

I am not satisfied. They should be smaller than "Other" Studios on the pie chart.

Lets face it, these studios never seem to deal with real cold hard facts like these. I mean they are all about making money, and then they make bad, dumb decisions that makes them loose more money. Para took a bribe cause they saw big dollar signs in front of them, and without thinking ahead, took it and is now suffering. And they will loose more than 150 mil in BD sales from this by the time it is over.
If they are smart, they will ride out the end of the holiday and then find some way to break the contract as soon as possible to start releasing stuff on both formats. They could have also gone ahead and rendered the films out for both formats so when the contract is over, they have a huge catalogue of every HD-DVD title they released ready to go for Blu-ray!
But they won't. Cause they are dumb and don't listen to cold hard facts.
Show them these numbers and they will just not see it.

When the CEOs (or whoever else in in charge) starts to loose money, they will start to think twice about this bad decision.

I agree with both of you.......

Sorry Fair is not the right word... And I still cant find the right one. For Paramount I use fair quite easily because they took a bribe and that is not fair. As for Universal I think that there is something up their sleeve. Previously this year they stated they would not go neutral because it would kill HD-DVD. To me this is not business reasoning unless you are getting paid off... Which is not fair.

We all know Blu is better. And I would take All formats going neutral over none of them. This way the consumer can truly decide what they want.
