The Canadian release of Season 2 is different than the US version unlike Season 1. Not only is it bilingual but the packaging is different. My copy came with a slip cover instead of the slip box and is in a 4 disc case (with 1 empty spot) for some reason. It also includes a French DTS-MA 5.1 track that the US version doesn't have.

What's up with the aspect ratio and letterboxing on this release? There's a tiny black frame around the picture. The TV airings weren't like this...They couldn't have cropped that out?

The "issue" stops halfway through Disc 2, as the episode The White Spirit is OK.

I don't see a Third Season thread. But the Blu Ray is out today at Target and it has character cards as a bonus if anyone is interested. I just got the last copy seems they aren't getting many of the exclusives.

If possible, could you post pics. I'd be curious to see what these cards look like. My Amazon order has not shipped yet, and I might cancel for the Target version.

Thank you so much, for taking the time to post the pictures! I was thinking they would be just production stills, but these are like the old time, late 1800's style picture. Very nice touch.

It may be because its not linked to the Hell on Wheels entry when you search the movie? I couldn't find it, it only had this one and a bunch of other unrelated movies.

Also if you're looking for a thread, it's better to just hit "Search this forum", then click "Advanced Search" then do a search be "Thread title".
At the rate threads and DB entries are created, more times than not a thread won't be linked to it's proper DB entry. Nobody's fault really, just the way things kind of fall out.

Sorry for this post so far after the season arrived but I am just getting around to watching this. Here goes.
Season 2, disc 3, episode ‘Blood Moon’ at 37.08-37-10.

is that normal? If not for the slight color banding looks red and blue on the black screen, I’d suspect it was just a hard break in the footage.
Thanks if anyone can check. I know it’s only a second, but if it’s disc error, I’d like to replace it while the season is cheap.
