Is the only version of the Paris, Texas release the one that comes in the slipbox? Or is there another one without it? Just want to make sure I'll be getting it if I buy it.

In all modesty but how can we do without 'Paris Texas', 'Wings Of Desire, 'Lightning Over Water', 'Lisbon Story', even 'Tokyo-Ga' on 4K UHD?

Yeah about time "Don't Come Knockig" gets the BD treatment and "Paris, Texas", "Wings of Desire" and "Until the End of the World" need 4K UHD Discs!

There are also Lisbon Story and The State of Things which were released in 2020 from StudioCanal.



Typically this is amaray with slipcase + booklet (32 pages in German).
I can confirm that both of them are from a new 4K scans of OCN. Compression could be better sometimes, but overall they look great in motion. 1.66:1 AR.
Keep in mind that there are only German subtitles.

Just finished watching Paris, Texas - an incredible transfer and it’s been 17 or 18 years since my only previous viewing (via the UK Anchor Bay DVD). I’d forgotten how astonishingly well-shot this film is.
