I saw The Dark Knight twice in the same day. I saw it a second time after being so underwhelmed the first I wanted to see if I missed something. Nope, still underwhelming after the fantastic Batman Begins. I also saw all three Star Wars prequels at midnight showings and then later in the afternoon for the same reasons and got the same results.

As for the original topic, I think I saw Burton's Sweeney Todd twice in one day: once on my own and then again later that night when my dad expressed interest in watching it. |

Romero's "Dawn of the Dead". 3 times in a row. The "Ultimate Edition" DVD set has 3 different cuts (US Theatrical, Extended Version, and European Version), so I watched them backtobacktoback.
"Saving Private Ryan" - First time I saw it, I was so blown away, I re-watched it right after I finished it. |

Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. I was a big fan of the original series and at that time Fox was always promising a film, but it never came to fruition until 2k1. Sat thru it twice opening day. Although the story was not good, I still think it captures the spirit of the original series far better than the new reboot and enjoy it much more.
