This seems to be the only Wayward Pines thread. I just watched last night's premiere, and was quite pleasantly surprised. Seems to be the bastard love child of Twin Peaks and The Prisoner. I don't know if it'll hold up, but I'm in for the nonce.

Watched the 1st episode today & that was off the chart good,

This bombed.

The 4 big nets thursday nite had 13 shows & this came in 12.

Fox wasnt expecting much though with all the problems they had + the summer slot they put it in so they might just let it run its i think 10 episode course.

Maybe they should have started this a week later once all of the other shows were done since the ratings were pretty bad for the first episode, but I'll still likely check this out at some point.

Watched the first episode of Wayward Pines last weekend and quite liked the episode. Love the title sequence and as for the main part of the episode, thought it got better in the second half hour.

Set it up on record starting tomorrow. Luck be, they will be showing ep 1 again right before ep2

this show is so damn good. Ratings rose to new hights last night and for a summer show that is pretty damn good numbers.

There's another Wayward Pines thread, which needs to be merged with this one.

After reading some negative comments on here I was wary about watching the first episode. Was glad I watched it in the end.

Agree with what the previous poster in this thread says, hoping Wayward Pines gets a Blu-ray release (along with Bloodline and Bosch). There have been some ads on TV recently, related to Wayward Pines, which make me wonder if there are webisodes related to the show.

I like it, at first I thought it was a comma based delusion, but with the second episode it made e think more of the prisoner TV show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prisoner

After the first two episodes I am liking this show quite a bit. Like others have said it definitely reminds me a bit of The Prisoner. It also reminds me quite a bit of that show Persons Unknown that ran on NBC for one season a few years ago.

i really hope this show gets a Blu Ray release because damn its a good Mystery Thriller. I love it.

All I can say is for a show I never planned on watching, I'm 100% hooked. Excellent episode 2.
