My favourite film this year, so far. Wish it would get the steelbook treatment or at least have a nice slipcover. Regardless, will be buying it day 1 .
Hear, hear.

I feel like I'm in the minority, but this film was great, day one purchase for me, can't wait to revisit it.

My favourite film of this year so far. Absolutely LOVED it.
I already was a big fan of Refn, and with this film I would now say he's one of my favourite directors.

Saw this myself...trying to cancel my Zavvi order at the moment but I stupidly ordered it with 2 other items (won't let you cancel separate items).

Would be nice I guess but feeling it might not as there was a bit of a heavier backlash with this one. I personally enjoyed it in all its over the top glory and would love to see a steelbook (imagine the striplight poster embossed) but yeah...would have to take someone like Zavvi, Amazon or HMV to convince themselves it would be a good idea.

Looking at Lionsgate's track record, all of last years ones have been HMV exclusives - The Hunger Games, The Cabin In The Woods, and The Expendables 2. But HMV have changed and they're not online anymore, so the upcoming Olympus Has Fallen and Warrior steelbooks are both with Zavvi. Also they might not be taking risks anymore - The Last Stand didn't get a steelbook, and that was an Arnie film.

I hope we do get a steelbook yeah - I want Amazon to take up the helm and have a stab at this one. They've done a great job in the past - Skyfall, The Hobbit and Star Trek Into Darkness are great steelbooks. Admittedly they're worldwide release steelbooks and big films, but Only God Forgives deserves good treatment, and not sure Zavvi would be up for it as they have a lot on their plate already. HMV have been pretty shoddy in terms of exclusives this year - Resident Evil: Retribution just before they went under, A Good Day To Die Hard recently (I've heard it's the worst in the series), and The Wolverine 3D (quite cool but again a commercial film). We might just be looking at a slipcover for this one (Sainsbury's exclusive? They'd get my money)!

+1. Hoping for a non-exclusive steelbook or an Amazon exclusive to keep the price down.

Pre ordered the U.S. version. If a steelbook is in the works, then I will definatley double dip.

Also Nosferatu is a must buy for me also.

The info on the UK home video release of 'Only God Forgives' has been inconsistent lately, looks like now it'll be out on Dec 02, 2013.

Dates get shifted around quite often, so studios/distributors don't have too many releases on the same week to prepare for. Happened with Pacific Rim too (moved forward though). I think it's because of the steelbook design competition that is was pushed back a little to give time for them to organise the design.

Sure I read something elsewhere on the forums about that German digibook being a bad idea if you dont speak German...subtitles missing from key scenes or something?

And the steelbook looks horrible! Hoping for a decent slip with this one but Im renting first anyway.
