So they're going to make a sequel to the remake right? Last time I heard, it was going to be a remake...of the remake!

Problem was that they couldn't get the clearance for Pinhead, so we were all denied a truly epic finale.

Why are some people thinking this is going to be a sequel to the originals? Sean didn't say that. He said possibly a 'different story' but half the other films were different stories from one another as well. It could pick up from where the 2009 one left off but be a completely different story.

I think I'll get burned for this, but I sort of see Blair Witch Project as an unofficial Friday 13 sequel. Say many years later, Crystal Lake was set in the town where the kids go hiking for the witch, and they think it's the witch, but it's really Jason Vorhees they ran into.

That's why I'm not too fond of the F13 series as a whole. They couldn't get their sh** straight when it came to continuity and never bothered to tell the audience they were trying something different confusing the fu** of the audience instead.

I'd like to see all of them made! The remake of the movie was fantastic. Freddy vs Jason was awesome just because the story worked. A tv show would be cool, but it can't be pussed down. A video game could be good. I'm not sure how I would want it. I'm thinking Splatterhouse but a lot better.

Jason doesn't make children stand in the corner while he kills the other ones. Besides it was Josh that did it all in the first Blair Witch. The 2nd one explained it all.

I would love another 3D Friday The 13th film since Part 3 is one of my favorites. But hey, at least they haven't forgotten about the remake's cliffhanger.

Hope we finally get the "Jason in the snow" movie they've been talking about. Saw the original F13 in the theater last night and it was great!

I don't think that's accurate of the Paramount films to a degree. Yeah, the time frames are probably off...but...

Friday the 13th happens.

Part 2 happens a year later. Part 3 happens a few days later. Part 4 happens the next few days after that.

Part 5 takes place maybe a decade later. Part 6 takes places a few years after that.

7-8 sometime after that.

The when New Line got involved...yeah, they got bad. Jason suddenly had a sister, and was a demon worm and then went to space.

VS happens sometimes between Hell and X.

I think it's been to long to make a sequel from the remake. Just start it over. Jason is at the camp. Have somebody trying to reopen the camp or something. Plot doesn't matter here, just the boobs & kills of course!

Here's some screenshots from one of the script writers that is trying to pass off his script for the Friday the 13th movie in 2015.

I really really hope he doesn't get picked and that Platinum Dunes does not hire. Looks terrible.

I'll be there no matter what.

I wish people would stop saying The F13 09 film was a remake. It wasn't a remake More a less a reboot. If it were a remake it would have had Mrs. Vorhees as the killer. NOES 10 was more a remake, so I'll give you that. And I like too so I would like to see a sequel.

I'd love to see 'Freddy vs. Jason 2', but at least I got the original intended sequel in comic form.

I'd see a Freddy vs Jason sequel if it's based on the script that was eventually converted into this comic book series:

and it's sequel:

Also, only if Robert Englund and Bruce Campbell reprise their respective roles.

I wonder who's going to be the new final girl! I loved Danielle Panabaker and Amanda Righetti in the last one.

Hated that remake.... The Friday the 13th actually wasn't too bad in my opinion. It wasn't the best but it wasn't complete sh*t either. I always thought that these remakes should have spawned sequels, you can't remake the first film in a franchise and just leave it as a stand alone film, except the Freddy remake, let's all just try and forget that one....
