It can be right. The second season starts in September. As you likely already know, the shows that start in the Fall here usually come out anywhere between late August to mid-September.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray The Blacklist: The Complete First Season. The five-disc set will be available for purchase on August 12th.

Synopsis: Raymond "Red" Reddington, one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, surrenders at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.. He claims the FBI and he have the same interests, that is, getting rid of dangerous criminals and terrorists. Reddington will co-operate, but insists he will speak only to Elizabeth Keen, a rookie FBI profiler. Keen questions Reddington's sudden interest in her, despite his claim she is very special. After the FBI brings down a terrorist he provided information on, Reddington reveals that this terrorist is only the first of many. In the last two decades, he's made a list of criminals and terrorists he believes matter the most; a list the FBI doesn't know exists. Reddington calls it "The Blacklist".

Can anyone help - is the Target Red edition DVD only (as per the image a few posts above) or is there a limited blu edition as well? I couldn't find anything about the limited edition on the Taeget website... I loved this show and any limited edition on blu would be luverly!

I'm going to pick this up as a blind buy. I really don't watch any network dramas anymore but I've heard good things about this show and it appears there's no way to legally stream the show.

Got the Target edition, although really hate that Sony went with the two disc stacked blu ray case again instead of a four disc case
