I always use my softest cotton shirts to clean smudges off of discs when needed. It has worked for me for years without any issues.

Though I think most of the cleaning methods posted in this thread work, I use Philip's CD/DVD rotating cleaning tray and a spray cleaner. I picked it up at Wal-Hell, er . . . Wal-Mart, for less than $10. However, I've found than quick cleaning techniques like a shirt or pillow case run the risk of leaving residue on the BD surface which, as I stated previously, can lead to freezing during playback. Has anyone else with the BDP-S300 stand alone experienced this?
