There are a lot of films in everyone's list I'd love to have, but none are as important to me as this one.
Real Genius is near and dear to my heart.
No doubt about it, this movie made me an instant Val Kilmer fan for life.
I'm expecting a fun performance from him as Mark Twain in the upcoming Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.

EDIT: I found this clip of Kilmer as Twain. Brilliant. Truly brilliant.

Question

John Ford's last film Cheyenne Autumn (1964) - 50th Anniversary
will hopefully be given a Warner release and be finally restored to Hi Def for a blu-ray release.

With Lerner and Loewe musicals almost all on blu-ray now the only exceptions are Joshua Logan's Paint Your Wagon (1969) - 45th Anniversary and Stanley Donen's The Little Prince (1974) - 40th Anniversary

Bob Fosse's film adaptation of Cy Coleman's Sweet Charity is another 45th Anniversary movie classic waiting in the wings for its blu-ray debut

Another 40th Anniversary would be Gene Sak's film of the Jerry Herman musical Mame (1974) with Lucille Ball as the title character.

It would be interesting to check again in 12 months time to see how many of these obscure titles make it to Blu.

I believe HDNet movies is about to play or has played Paint Your Wagon in HD recently. Whenever a movie appears on that channel, it's a fairly good indicator that a potential Blu-ray is in the works and will soon be released.

In 2014, I'm hoping for:

TV Movies/Mini-series

The Day After (1983)
The Fire Next Time (1993)

Regular films

The Earthling (1980)
Miracle Mile (1989)
Narrow Margin (1989)
Unaltered, full-length version of WATERWORLD
Flight of the Phoenix (1965)
Valley Girl (1983)
Fright Night Part II
The World, the Flesh and the Devil BD upgrade

The Abyss, True Lies & Duel are high on my list but those will be released eventually. I picked 10 titles that seem unlikely or have not been mentioned as coming soon.

UPDATE:
Missile to the Moon (1959) Ok, this is a joke.
Way Way Out (Jerry Lewis most "risque" film)
Song of the South (but Disney will never release it
Skatetown USA (if they could ever get the music right settled)
