Fair enough, I tested on both my HDTV's and one normal one and it was only pixelated on the blu-ray player.

My TV's:

Panasonic 37" plasma
HDMI connection

Daytek LM37 37" LCD
HDMI connection

The picture is very pixelated throughout the movie (really noticeable when zoomed in on faces for the movies listen before) and it isn't very good. The colour and everything is fine, it's just a bad quality.

I tested on 1080i and 720p, same quality.

On my regular DVD player, these movies looked fine (minus the upscale).

Well it's been a while since I watched my Big Fish BD but I don't remember any pixelation at all on a 1080p display. In fact I think it looked very nice and less fuzzier than when I saw the movie slightly out of focus and full of flare in a theater.

Could you tell me all the settings your use?

Big Fish wasn't too bad at all, but it was kind of noticable at certain scenes.

mmm 100% white (level 235) at the LCDs max light output, gamma of about 2.35, 4% pluge (level 25) not visible (1000:1+ darker) on an average background, 75% colors/hues (level 180) flat (blue filter), D65 white point, sharpness flat (no enhancement or boosting), 1:1 pixel mapping, no auto anything or enhancement on. Usually watched at about 2PH from movie format's image height if an excellent transfer
