I'd like to see just a lot of yellow and black. Minimalist typographic went pretty well for the marketing campaign in my opinion.

Agreed rapta, when I went into the theatre to see it today I found that poster to be incredibly arresting.

I agree, this would look much better as the cover. I know it's a crappy mockup, I did it in Paint lol.

Agree this would be better than the current proposed design. I wonder if they'll just go with the current one though as it's already being mocked up (I notice the catalogue number is the only thing missing). Maybe there will be a steelbook/retailer exclusive with different artwork. I'm seeing this film at the weekend, looking forward to it!

I don't like the pool scene artwork, a better photoshoped version of the proposed artwork would be nice, but won't happen...

Yeah I think I might have to get that as well. I saw the film last week and really enjoyed it. The simplicity of that design looks much more appealing to me than the other posters, and the colours and embossing (which it looks like there could be a lot of) could make for a beautiful looking steelbook.

It's just a rumour based on a Daily Mail article so take from that what you will - and remember that Scorsese isn't one for director's cuts (hence we never got the 'full' version of Gangs of New York)

I'd love it if it were true but I would take it with a huge grain of salt and not get your hopes up unless Universal announce it.
