They mention in the trailers how much trouble they can get into if they get caught. And in the trailer I posted some gangster goes the badge numbers don't match up. They must be so and so. I think the people who created this and came up with the idea was so outlandish, and just decided to go with the idea.

It is, but to be more specific, this movie looks like a couple of knuckleheads making nothing but dumb decisions. I mean, really, you're going to pretend to be cops and barge in on a domestic disturbance and expect everything to go okay? Cops go through so much training and exercises, I don't think I can buy into this movie's concept that these guys can get away with doing police work without that kind of background (unless they have a background in private security or something, in which case, I'll have to watch the movie and see if the story addresses it).

In the end, it's not so much the dumbness of the plot that concerns me, as it is dumbness of the characters. I love buddy-cop movies, even stupid ones like Showtime, but at least they had actual cop characters who knew what they were doing (more or less).

Could still be a blast, just saying that character intelligence might take me out of it.

That is true, and I'm sure it'll make for a thrilling plot. I'm getting more interested to see how nuanced this story actually is.

Looks like that episode of It's always Sunny, except instead of abusing the public's trust of cops to get free hot dogs, they're smoking weed and getting drunk.

Could be alright, but the jokes in the trailer just seem way more obvious than when "The Gang" did it.

This is also directed by the guy (Luke Greenfield) who did the Elisha Cuthbert movie The Girl Next Door that came out in 2004.

Feeling like Let's Be Cops and Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow. My parents are visiting over the weekend to celebrate me finishing school, will probably see if I can get them to take me to Turtles and either Let's Be Cops or Guardians.

It came in slightly under expectations. It's really funny when they're abusing their powers, not so much when they actually try to be cops.

I think my favorite scene is when they

This did $1.2m on Tuesday nights.

How do you personally know it's a bad movie? Have you seen it?

I was just saying. if the person who reviewed the movie doesn't liked R rated comedies in general. Than it's no surprise they didn't like this.
