Damn, what are those dudes over at WB smoking lately? What's up with some of these catalog announcements? Torque, Exit Wounds, The Man Who Knew Too Little, The Avengers??!? Some really bizarre choices right there...

Even the Paramount side of things has been a bit lackluster. I guess they're happy selling DVDs and DVD-Rs for most of those titles...

I agree. With all the great films they control they choose to release crap.

Man don't want to offend anyone who actually likes this, but how does Warner release this POS movie when they've got tons of stuff that people actually want.

Gotta admit though Uma did look good in this one. At least she wasn't drag queened up like in Batman and Robin.

It's really infuriating, isn't it?

They have a ton of stuff that still hasn't made the jump from VHS to digital yet that would sell at least as good as this pile of monkey crap.

What a terrible film, I would be more interested in the series.

They still won't release Horror of Dracula because they aren't sure it'll sell enough copies and they release this?

They probably like timing their bigger catalog titles with anniversaries, holidays, etc. They need other things to fill out their calendar.

If they're going to release all these movies that are bad or are preceived as bad they need to put out Femme Fatale (2002). One of my favorite films, even though I know a lot of people that think it's terrible.

I remember watching this at the first performance at the Warner West End in Leicester Square ,there were no press previews of the film so there was a number of cameras outside wanting people's opinions of it.
I was speechless,I could not believe how bad it was.
There was a hell of a lot of trouble in the production and I would prefer to see the directors version of the film than the version to be released on Blu Ray.

Reading Peter Bart's book The Gross left me wanting to see this last Summer, too bad it's probably not the director's cut.

All of those titles were new-release DVDs in 1998-2004 that have never been re-issued by the catalog group. Same goes for Get Carter (2000) and Rush Hour 2 (2001). Seems pretty obvious to me that Warner's catalog group is looking at early era DVD new-release titles due for re-issue after a two "video generation" cycles (one cycle is 7 years; see: Disney vault).

Well then I hope that means Femme Fatale can get a release! I'd go for The Pledge too.

I'm one of the handful who actually thought it was very good in a campy funny way. I admit I have not seen ALL of the old UK show but to me this movie had a lot of the same spirit. It wasn't supposed to be taken seriously. How can you not like Connory running around in a bear costume!! Not a classic mind you but not sure why it's so reviled (though I'm sure some will enlighten me, haha).

But saying all of that I wouldn't buy unless it's $5.

If that's the case, hopefully they'll put out some (or any) of the following titles: Money Talks (1997), Turbulence (1997), The Corruptor (1999), The Art of War (2000, uncut), The Cell (2000), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), Bait (2000), The Pledge (2001), Valentine (2001), 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), 15 Minutes (2001), Welcome to Collinwood (2002), About Schmidt (2002), Eight Legged Freaks (2002), Femme Fatale (2002), Dreamcatcher (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), After the Sunset (2004).

That's just the tip of the iceberg.
