It's fan made and definitely not official cover.

Glad to see this coming to Blu at last! We did a triple feature for New Year's Eve and this was the only movie not on Blu that we watched. (The others were Dr. Horrible and Three Amigos. Aside from humor in all three, no real connection...) I went into the New Year singing along with "Hey, Mickey!" in the end credits. And I am perfectly okay with that.

Alamo Drafthouse recently did a "Cheer-Along" showing of this and it made me wonder when we'd get a blu release, good timing haha.

I was going to say, that's an awful cover and the film isn't 15 years old yet (it's 14, which is really weird).

Anyways, I'm not ashamed to admit that I like this movie. I'll probably buy it.

I can't wait to have this! It's one of those titles I didn't think we'd ever get when they didn't release it along side the final one!

I feel the same! But if they released 2-4 in a box set and that was the only option I'd have no problem buying it!

On the fence about buying this one. It's a fun film but not sure if I would just watch it once and then it would sit on the shelf.

I sold my DVD copy because I thought it was one of those movies I outgrew. But the Blu-ray is tempting. I'd buy it cheap. I actually thought it was on Blu already.

Did you outgrow Veronica Mars as well?

Alright seeing some of the excitement from some of you guys has piqued my interest. I never actually watched this, when it came out I just assumed it was some sort of teen girl dance movie (think Disney stuff like High School Musical)!

Having said that, since that doesn't appear to be the case, is it worth a blind buy? If it's similar in tone to say something like Mean Girls, then I'm all in.

It right there w Mean Girls but its about High School Cheerleading and Competitions.
Its a fun flick that pre-dates the High School Musical/Fame/Glee formula.

But If youve never seen it, i doubt you would watch it multiple times. I pop in Mean Girls once a year.

If your a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer definitely get this movie. Also its not as tame compared to High School Musical, its a hard PG-13. Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, and Gabrielle Union are great in this movie and all look amazing. The cast had good chemistry and its actually funny. I saw this when it came out on DVD and loved it. Its like The Fast and the Furious of high school movies. Very entertaining. This is coming from a man.
