It looks right for the character. The cover art is pretty bad for the UK release, the US cover looks much better and not as cheap looking.

Oh I'm sure it does, just not used to seeing him with that look really. The UK always ends up with inferior artwork! (not always but a lot of the time)

I agree. The raid 2 comes to mind recently. The US theatrical poster looks awesome while the UK gets a generic cover with Rama wearing an outfit he didn't wear in the film.

Agreed, i went with the Steel for Raid 2 to match the first movie, but at least the first had a cool lenticular slip for the standard release.

Hating that fold over page graphic (top right) for that Ultraviolet c**p - couldn't care less about it - and it spoils the front artwork.

Here's hoping for a steelbook release!

Haven't seen the film, so can't comment on it.

Hey there is a steelbook, Entertainment Store one available from Play. Similar artwork to the steel for the first movie.

I do agree with some of the violence being unnecessary,

[Show spoiler]like when they kill the cyclist and kill half the people on the street during that one chase sequence. Also the plot seems to go back and forth and doesn't really know what direction it is going. I didn't like some of the jokes the cast members were saying, it seemed childish.

Arnie seemed to be on top form though, they need to release the true directors cut before it was cut to ribbons by the studio.

Agreed with all those things. I actually tried to watch it again and the language and jokes were even worse than I thought when I watched the first time. I, and a few other people who watched it, had the feeling that it was a send-up a few times, especially

[Show spoiler]the car chase with the chick hanging out of a boot of a car with a high powered rifle while the car is doing 180º spins and Arnie shooting holes in the boot inches away from her head.

There is a good plot in there somewhere, however, what turns up on screen is just people swearing at each other and then them shooting at each other. Arnie, because he is Arnie, made it watchable, though.

I enjoyed the movie though, imo he hasn't had a bad one since his return. But boy, I was there for him in the eighties and nineties, and I'm here for him now!

Same as the US release I would guess.. Universal seem to shift alot of their recent releases over to Lionsgate for UK distribution.
