As much as I want to HEAR this concert with the exceptional quality I've come to know and love from Blu...ol' Dave is showing his age now and looks like my grandpa. It distracts me from my trance-like bliss XD

Huh? Dave's voice has stood the test of time FAR better than some of his contemporaries. Jagger's rubbish, Roger Waters sounds like he gargles sand, Bowie blowies, and Elton John's voice waddles more than Danny Devito as the Penguin!

Just TRY to tell me that he's gone to pot while listening to Echoes!

There is one track that I will agree with you - it's the black and white live track that looks like we was just farting about in front of a small crowd at a cafe or something (don't remember what song it was). His voice cracked more than Peter Brady, and he REALLY needed to reach for some of the high ones.

Otherwise - I was so impressed by this release, I almost had to change my pants.

I was lucky to find only one copy at my local FRYS yesterday afternoon at 1\3 off the price of MSRP. As soon as I got home I popped it into my Sony BDP-S500 and output the sound via HDMI to my Yamaha RX-V1800, watch the Dolby TrueHD show up on the Yamaha display, and became mesmerize by the lifelike sound coming from my speakers. The best part of this concert is the playing of "Echoes" from the "Meddle" album. I have gotten almost every Pink Floyd medium and this was the first time I saw "Echoes" played live. It was well worth the price of admission. If you are a fan of Pink Floyd and David Gilmore this is a must have.

It's a pretty good 2 disc set, with decent PQ and very good AQ.

I have to admit though: it was a little depressing to see how old one of my rock heroes has become. You can also see that David Gilmour has a bit of a gut that can be pretty obvious at times. Nevertheless, he can still wail on the guitar with the very best of them!

Audio is great, PQ is bad, some scenes looks like SD upconvert, most are below par, some are outright bad, very dissapointed with PQ.

I loved the audio on this BD set, excellent all around, and David Gilmour still kicks ass even in his old age. The picture quality was a mixed bag, sometimes really solid, othertimes absolutely horrendous, like it was recorded with an amateur home camera.

Still very worth it overall for the concert.

Dear Music Fan,

Should I buy the Pink Floyd Pulse DVD or this "remember that night" BD ? or both if there is no duplication of songs ?

Any chance that the Heart Alive in Seatle DVD will be released in Blu-ray ?

Appreciate any info. Thanks a bunch
