Got my copy from Amazon today. I was surprised to see a lenticular slip cover. It's pretty nice but mine is scratched up a bit. Oh well. Looking forward to watching this tomorrow morning.

deserve 3,5 or 4 rating, it's better than I, Robots (not more entertaining) but storyline-wise, it's defintely a superb sci-fi !! Excellent Antonio Banderas !

Would anyone confirm me was it really released with slipcover?
I found it kinda strange that eventhough I preordered a copy (from amazon.com), it had come without one!

Well worth it in my opinion. It drags a bit, but the droid work is top notch and really draws you into the story.

I collect sci-fi and $5 is cheaper than a streaming rental nowadays, so went ahead and got this. Heard some good things.

You can really tell which movies sold like total crap when they still have a slip cover when they reach $5 on Amazon!

Loved this flick. Shame the (absolutely rubbish, in my opinion) Predestination is getting all the conversation as I thought this was the best science fiction offering we've had this year.

Loved Predestination. Bought that because of the solid praise and was surprised how engaged I was with the story. Is Automata as well written and acted? Does it rely on just "OK" effects, or are they pretty good, cause sometimes shoddy effects take me out of it.

I definitely thought Predestination was insanely overrated, even though I did like it.

Effects are clunky, but deliberately so, you gotta love practical robots in a sea of computer generated ones. While the story ins't very original, Banderas puts in a tour de force of a central performance that makes you sit up and really taken notice.

The one movie where I could do with less gratuitous ass shots. It looks a bit ridiculous.
