These are the discs coming inside the "Unrated" packaging. Clearly the wrong edition as those are Promotional Discs (Free).

OK, so the same thing just happened to me. Bought the unrated/uncut version new from Blockbuster and, sure enough, I check the disc and it says for promo only and its pg13. Well I called blockbuster and they said they have no other new copies that I can exchange it for so what are my options? Does anyone know a number or company I can call? I know it's not blockbusters fault as they don't package them and others have had similar problems from other stores pertaining to this movie. Help, what can I do?

Everyone who gets a disc with the PG-13/promo label should spend 2 minutes verifying the disc's contents via their player before freaking out.

Mine has the PG-13/promo label and the disc itself features the longer Unrated cut and all the extras.

But how do you tell? I put it in and it says play movie or the other options but it doesn't tell me if its the unrated version or the pg13 one.

Pg13 one is 108 mins and unrated 122 mins.

BVDL means it was pressed in a Sony plant and that it's a dual layer disc (50 GB). BVSS is used for the single layer (25 GB) discs. Sounds like the wrong disc art was printed on a batch of the retail release.

So I checked the length and it's just a bit over two hours counting the credits and whatnot. So are you saying that I actually have the unrated version? It does say it has extras. So I have the proper disc just not the proper paper placed on the bluray itself? So I have the 50 not the 25?

agreed. why take out little bobby's childhood ride and several other things? both cuts have their moments but blu allows for having both cuts. a big screw up that they didn't put both on there

New listing for this on Amazon and product details says there are 2 discs. Release date is October 25, 2016. I wonder if this is a special 10th Anniversary release. Yes, Ricky Bobby is now a 10-year-old film. Let that sink in.

Sony are releasing a few anniversary editions in various territories, (Jerry Maguire has popped up for pre-order in the UK), and as much as I like Talladega Nights, this is a strange one.
