My local carmike theater I work at surprisingly got this movie. I've never heard not one thing about this until I saw a TV spot for it when I was watching the flash this past Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, and I'm hoping it does get a lazy generic amaray release.
Actually, you're right it could. If it's really that successful it might actually get a nice slip.

I'm guessing the release date on this won't be for months, huh?
The Duke of Burgundy has been on VOD for awhile.

Probably zero chance a version of this gets used for cover art?

I don't own many horror movies, but this is one I'm snagging day one. I liked it a ton. Also I fear this will get some generic, piece of crap cover unfortunately so that more people will buy it once it comes out.

What service? It's not on amazon instant or itunes and the sundance site says nothing about what VOD service it's available on. The official website's VOD links are all UK-only. As far as I can tell it's only available in Europe on VOD.

EDIT, oh, it seems like it had a very temporary VOD availability on some VOD services which are tied explicitly to having a cable subscription, like Time Warner and Comcast and is not available any longer, and never was if you don't have those cable providers. :P

Yeah, I have COX Communications as my ISP and it's available for another few weeks.

I dislike the rearview mirror poster as well, I think it's pretty bland.

My favorite is the main one of Jay and Hugh in the back of the car, with IT FOLLOWS in neon lettering. Very simple.

Come on, you know the Weinsteins have to sit on a movie for at least a year or two before they finaly release it.

This is the main poster art and the one I suspect they will use for the Blu Ray. Paranormal Activity has used it's main poster artwork on it's releases as have many other releases.

I have a strong feeling that the same will apply to this as neither of the illustrated covers make sense for a mainstream release. They look far to collector market/comic-con inspired in my eyes. I could see them being used for re-releases one day, but not anytime soon..

If for some reason they don't use this cover I'll be creating a custom cover that does. I just pray to god they don't use this...

or this...

Though to be honest, this wouldn't be a bad cover, and one I may look into using as well.

That UK poster is the best. Almost picked up the quad, but no space for those.

My ISP (Charter) doesn't have it listed. Darn it. Hopefully they put it on services like it's on in the UK so people that want to see the movie legally actually can without living in service areas for specific ISPs. Ridiculous.

Just got back from seeing It Follows. Should've been called It Blows. Sorry, but as a sci-fi/horror fan since childhood, this movie was NOT all it was hyped up to be. It was pretty silly and funny, instead of horrifying. Those quotes like "It will haunt you forever", are just so hilarious.

The cast, mostly the young adults, were all great. The scares? Only one for me. Sorry, but naked streakers, do not make scary villains. Pretty disappointed.
