It's clearly the exact same jittery old telecine for both the UK and US discs, and although Kino have seemingly deinterlaced the 1080i60 version to provide a proper 24p master I think the UK one resolves the grain a little better (which wouldn't be the first time for a Koch encode). My TV can do the reverse pulldown to restore it to 24p anyway so I'll stick with the UK one. Underneath all that technical bullshit it looks really nice in motion though! ![]() |
