I remember passing on it because I could have sworn I heard from a lot of people that the transfer wasn't that great. Might be wrong and thinking of another film though.
When the region lock screen appears you just press "Top Menu" and it skips the Lock screen.

Even easier than doing something like the Konami code.

If they include the original soundtrack then I will definitely pick it up, but I'm honestly pretty content with the current MGM disc. Either way, I know I'm gonna get it anyway lol

Curious to see the extras they produce for this. Love the film, day one for me. Thank you.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I'm able to do this with the PS4. I use the video game controller for selections.

I'm very happy with my Uk steelbook but will double dip if the SF release has enough going for it to justify it.

On the PS3 controller the square button does the trick.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was guessing that but didn't want to plop down money on an import assuming it would work and end up having to buy a standard remote that works with the PS4.

Meh, the Second Sight release is kind of definitive already. The original soundtrack is probably a big hurdle.

Would have been totally excited for part III Uncut.

I haven't seen RotLD III in quite some time but I remember that redhead.

I have and really like the Second Sight release, but Scream Factory really triggers the collector in me. I'll be getting this one for sure.

I think they know a new edition will be completely pointless without the original audio, so that's a no brainer for me.

Now they've said they wouldn't waste their time with ROTLD because they wouldn't be able to top the UK edition, and now they're announcing this. I don't know, maybe they have something stored that will make this CE worthwhile. We should wait to hear the full specs

Can't think of what they could add to Second Sight's release that wouldn't be redundant.

III's the best and most ambitious of the three. It's got some serious issues but it's definitely my favorite. The fact we've never gotten an uncut version here is criminal, since there's a LOT of stuff censored in the US versions. I'm stuck with a crummy full-frame import DVD

I wonder if Scream will stick the whole "More Brains" disc on there as extras? It seems like they'd probably skip the 45 minutes or so devoted to parts 2 and 3, even though they stuck those on the Second Sight disc.

I can't really imagine a scenario where this would be worth it to me, as I have the MGM disc and the more brains standalone DVD. It doesn't seem like there's any ground left for new extras to cover after the ~55 minutes on the MGM disc and the 2 hours of the more brains doc! I guess they could also port over those 3 extra interviews that they had on the Second Sight disc.

I love Shout/Scream but this is yet another example of a totally superfluous release of something that has already been done justice (multiple times.)

Sticking with the MGM blu I bought for $7.99, possibly the best blind buy I've ever made.
