I will likely rent the DVD though. I like the Bourne series. Will definitely pick them up on Blu when the time comes.

Pre-ordered it. Even if currently unavailable on Blu-Ray, still one of the top spy/action movies around.

Nope, I will be renting this one in HD-DVD. Universal is on my BAN list.

I don't buy DVDs anymore either unless they are TV shows (and generally, only older ones).

I'll be waiting for it to hit Blu, and will buy the trilogy as soon as I can (assuming good PQ/AQ reviews)

Only bought 2 DVDs all year. 1. The Beatles Help! that I couldn't pass up and 2. The 1980 NFC Championship game already wrapped for a gift. No plans to buy any more DVDs at all.

Something about Bourne rubs me the wrong way. So no go on any format for me.

Maybe it's because every time I see Matt Damon all I can think about is his puppet in Team America going "Maaaat Daaamon".

It's probably just me, but I wasn't all that impressed by those movies. A little above average, but nothing to write home about. When they do come to Blu, I probably won't even bother. I liked Paramount's "The Shooter" better.

I'm a bit tired of doubledipping so I'll hold off for now. BU does meet the requirement for lossless audio but I remember my player doesn't support 5.1 TrueHD on HD DVD (On Blu-ray, yes, so go figure). I can wait for the inevitable price drop in a few months while waiting to see what Warner and Universal will do about Exclusivity (if anything).

How does the DVD upconvert? I've been surprised by the number of DVDs that upconvert very well.

Never saw the movie, but I definitely won't be buying the DVD. I may rent it though, because I did like the first 2.
