Don't go by the tag. It's only 109 and some change. You can PM it to Target or Wal-Crap for 104 and some change.

Worth every penny

IF you go by Best Buy's prices, it'd be around $130 for the individual movies... Or $110 for this box set with all these nifty little do-dads and thingy majigs... My only problem is, and this is what I think of the box set, it's a pain to get the movies out whenever I want to watch them. So if anyone would like to make a high quality scan of the artwork, that'd be super...

Do the individual cases have the same contents as the boxsets? i.e. HBO first look specials and the other specials.

I really like the eclectic look of the box set's packaging. The whole kit 'n caboodle is obviously supposed to be a school trunk, so all the films within are designed as "textbooks," in a way. That they all vary in size, with different styles of cover art to imply different "subjects" is a level of detail you don't often see in home video packaging. I think it's rather creative!

There's 2 extra DVD's that come with the box set (along with the other goodies). One's the interactive game (which was like $20 if you bought it seperately) and the other is more bonus features.

Sure it's creative... until you want to take the movies out and watch them I should quit picking on this package, it's awesome actually. But just kind of a hastle for me until I get some Blu cases.

For those wondering, the width of the Harry Potter set is the equivalent of 11 single Blu-ray cases.

That's what I call BULK.

Only the HD-DVD version will have 200 discs. The Blu-ray will have 10.

Bought this as a Christmas present for the wife, but had her open it because I read of there being some type of HD DVD mix up with some of the boxed sets. Was VERY impressed with the contents. After verified all was well, would not let her keep it. Wrapped it and put it under the tree

I liked everything but the fact the first two movies are in smaller cases.

I'm still partially holding out for the 7 movie boxset. I say partially because I really loved the 3rd and 4th one so I picked them up tonight at Wal-mart (and got them to give them to me for 14.99).
