I don't see it how a digibook could be worse than this, but to each his own.

The only one I bought with the new packaging was "Dracula" for the Francis Ford Coppola Letter that came with it.

Bought the regular packaging for "Leon".

Well, they could care less, but they'd have to put a bit of effort into it.

Agreed, should have been a digibook.

I am a big fan of written content as an extra so I bought the L.E. Dracula plastic thingy for that reason but I am seriously considering buying the standard editions for Leon and Fifth Element. Still torn though and have not made up my mind yet.

But yeah, my Dracula L.E. packaging is pretty flimsy and I could easily see it falling apart if I am not VERY careful with it.

If they were reducing costs, though, they wouldn't make "special" packaging to begin with. They'd just stick with regular cases.

He said a regular digibook. As in packaging that has an actual disc tray and is a hard bound cover.

Yeah, debating returning the Fifth Element supreme cinema series. It's pretty bad.

Uh, standard digibooks have disc trays and hold together just fine. This packaging is obviously worse.

Seriously, I don't mind the packaging. It's different, and I like it.

Haven't had a problem with Dracula's packaging, it's a little tight but as long as you ease it open kinda slowly it should be fine. Was able to read the Coppola note and skim through the rest without a problem.

There's definitely something wrong when you have to resort to an arts and crafts job to fix a blu-ray case. I have a couple of digibooks of titles that don't come in any other packaging, but this is why I stick to standard plastic keepcases. If something breaks, pull out the disc and cover art, toss the broken case in the recycling bin and replace it with another.

If the glue is coming loose, then go out and buy some glue so you can fix it yourself.

Had the same problem with some digipak's with a plastic holder coming loose. A bit of glue fixed it.
