consider the PQ in the majority of the movies available and you are most likely getting your money's worth..

I heard Robocop was a bad transfer, but I could easily be mistaken...

This is a nice deal.

Picked up DH1, DH2, DH3, Kingdom of Heaven for ~$55!

Nice deal as FOX is WAAAAAAYYYY over priced on their HD movies - particularly at the brick-n-mortar stores.

Now c'mon Sony and give us DTS-MA decoding in the PS3!

Don -- Robocop is apparently a good transfer, but it doesn't have any extras available in the latest DVD SE. Other extras-free MPEG-2 BD-25 titles are Edward Scissorhands and Usual Suspects. And the first Fantastic Four film has a somewhat troublesome transfer.

I'll hold out for new releases on those, as I don't want to double-dip on anything in Blu, so I'm somewhat picky. Then again, Kingdom of Heaven is also deprived of extras, but it features an apparently amazing transfer. As I have the full 4-disc SE on DVD, and therefore already own all of the extras in SD, I think it's worth splurging out on the feature alone in BD.

It's the only MPEG-2 transfer I'll end up owning. As the shining example of what it could do, before everyone switched to MPEG-4...

Edward Scissorhands works as part of the BOGO.

Don't forget to add the additional $5 off when using Amazon Visa.

My total came out to $17.xx for 2 movies

If you plan on ordering more than 2 movies, then make separate orders as the $5 code can be used more than one.

Not that it's going to help, but you could counter your wife complaints about how much money you're spending on B1G1F with how much money you're saving because of the sell.
