NO around 3:34 into this trailer for set 2 [Section 3] mentions 82 films & all Internet list only list 80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTA1...ature=youtu.be

I think one of the 2 films is Harry Preston's Honeymoon Horror & Xtro is on the Section 3 list. Section 3 has 82 films

I've heard of pretty much all of these apart from Bloody Moon. The plot synopsis, "Girls get killed at a school" has me sold. To be honest I'm not sure I've ever even heard of Severin.

I have not seen it in a while but it's nothing special from what I remember. The one part of The Werewolf and the Yeti that I always remember is after the pre-credits sequence and the credits themselves the film cuts to some stock footage of the river Thames and the Houses of Parliament and there are loud bagpipes playing on the soundtrack to emphasise the fact the film has switched to London but bagpipes are far more associated with Scotland and I always found that little scene very funny and it was obviously put together by Spaniards who did not do their research.

Nice thread Fatboy. Not a movie, but I own this and think it's a great release for and suits your thread. Ideal for anyone looking to get into this genre

No, not seen that and I never bought volume two. I think I moved to BD and may have only bought 2-3 DVDs since then.

You recommend? I might browse eBay or Amazon later and see prices.

You can get signed copies from Nucleus films. Also you should get the limited edition as it comes with 5 postcards.

Bloody Moon is a really good Jess Franco film & one of his best straight horror films.

I'm going to do another thread for the DPP Section 3 titles when I've found my copy of the 2nd video Nasties set as all DPP Section 3 lists online are missing 2 titles.
you could maybe do a Banned and Seized but not Official Nasty section List
New York Ripper for example, still cut in UK and Banned for cinema and escorted out of country, deserves a mention somewhere

nice work though

...and it's original Spanish title was, unbelievably, Raped College Girl.

There's a really rather good effect in this film of a knife through a tit (most unpleasant!) if I remember correctly, though in the blade-through-tit stakes, I don't think anything will top either New York Ripper or, perhaps a little tenuously, The Slayer (come on, Blu-ray release!)

It might be worth noting, as the list expands, which is the best release of the movie to get for those of us sick little bunnies who like this sort of stuff. I know there is something similar here on the Blu-ray Forums with Best International PQ/AQ, so perhaps something like that?

I'm sure me and others on here will be only too happy to contribute knowledge to the endeavour.

I'm listing all films when they reach BD in UK & US. I ONLY list other countries' BD releases if they're UNCUT as in Cannibal Holocaust case or if they get BD before anyone else.

I'm only listing Video Nasties [72 films] as this is what the thread is about & I'm also going to do another similar thread for the DPP Section 3 [82 films] list.

Snuff has never had a UK release -period.
Astra Video announced it in 1982 , it got as far as being advertised for release and while a few samples got out somehow the official release was cancelled as the first whiff of the nasties scandal began to ferment.
I think the talk of possible prosecutions for I Spit On Your Grave scared Astra off

Does anyone know if Blue Underground still have UK rights to Snuff? It'd be a prime candidate for 88 films to release.
