It really doesn't make that big of a difference. It's probably an issue with the flag on the disc.

It just goes back to my previous post. You have to be watching it in 1080p. BD does not ever produce any movies less than 1080p. It must be a glitch.

The flag is what the disc tells the TV it's putting out. It's probably just a glitch with that.

Even if it is only putting out 1080i, it's not that big of a difference. Watch the movie instead of the display.

Is there any possibility he IS watching in 1080p, but the output info is saying 1080i instead? Hense the "Glitch"?

Maybe someone else can see what their system is reading on this BD movie.

Yeah. I think that's what ended up happening on the NIN disc.

Post another thread in a few days after people have had a chance to view it asking the question... T-3: 1080i or 1080p?

I am 100% positive you are already veiwing it in 1080p though.

If it is a bad flag it will read that way on all the discs. But as has been said even if it reads that it should be 1080p since all Blu-rays are 1080p.

It is called marketing. There is no use for it right now so it is a way for them to say you are getting something. Even if you cannot use it.
