Bourne Classified Collection (Identity-Legacy)

As much as I like this set I am going to stick with the comic looking steelbooks of the original three. I actually sold Legacy after watching it. Hopefully, the new film will get a steelbook release. If it doesn't I will definitely consider this set.

If this set isn't from the planned 4k UHD releases with new transfers, and just the old crappy versions again... you guys are wasting your money.

I'll definitely wait for the UHD Blu-ray's of the trilogy, which were on the list of first up Universal 4k discs to coincide with the release of the new Bourne film.

The UHD Blu-ray versions come bundled with 1080p discs. Future proofing. The current transfers are not very good.

I sold mine on eBay. I liked the look of them but I didn't like the flipper discs. Also, since we're not certain that there will be a similar steelbook for Jason Bourne I decided to go w/ the future proofing Classified Collection. Plus, I got a nice price for the steelbooks so no money lost.

Definitely getting this, but I will wait to pick it up in-store to make sure I get Movie Cash. Same with the Jaws sequels. All in all, will be getting four tickets to the new Bourne, for me, GF, and parents.

The sequels look more than fine, it's only Bourne Identity that looks "not very good."

Yeah, but I hate that the shaky cam in Supremacy is "too much", even in the very quiet scenes... In the motel scene, both characters are quiet, speaking slowly, but still, the cameraman keep moving and then you can see the window frame... oh, it's gone, wait, it's back... Damn! That style looks amateurish to me, as if they don't care enough to take the time to steady the camera on a tripod...

Well that's the cinematography, I was talking about blu-ray transfers.

Then Universal will have ANOTHER boxset which includes Jason Bourne.
Easier for me to keep the boxset I already own, get whichever exclusive with bonus for Legacy, and then whatever non-Steelbook with maybe an exclusive disc for Jason Bourne.

Yep, the Reel Heroes comic style steelbooks have two discs: Blu-ray and DVD plus a code sheet for UV and iTunes.

Yes, but I'm referring to the Target ones which were known to be flipper discs. He does list the Target exclusives in his collection so it'd be interesting if his were 2 discs.

I'll check when I get home and report back, but I honestly don't remember them being flippers. And I've been meaning to re-watch them, so this will be the perfect opportunity.
