Just received an e-mail from Amazon customer service. They are offering to replace the item at no cost to myself.
Well done, Amazon ..... I'll be back

Oh! and I have to say that we are being screwed by WB in every way, if it's not missing discs it's mixed up ones with the duds or the not so good format stickers.
That sucks! It is the first time ever I had to touch something "hd-dud's". Hope I didn't catch any evil viruses.
Take a peek!

I've read in one of the other threads regarding Blade Runner, that although disc five is labeled workprint, it is indeed the final cut. That immediately sent shivers down my spine, so I checked it out to make sure I got the right disc, and thankfully, it is the workprint.

One way of distinguishing them is that the final cut is in English 5.1 and in Dolby Truehd, whereas, the workprint is only in English 5.1. Another way to distinguish the discs is that there is a considerable amount of grain in the workprint copy, whereas the final cut has a much more polished look. I hope that this helps...

They also have completely different starting titles. If you compare disc 1 and disc 5, there is no way you would miss the difference.

I said this elsewhere but this is why Warner should go Blu. If it's Blu-ray, you can fit everything in one BD-50 (maybe not the extras, but at least all the movies) using seamless branching. Nothing to ever get confused about.

enjoy

Amazon are replacing the Blade Runner 5 disc Blu ray with the 2 missing discs with a new copy at no cost. Also, I do not have to return the original as I am in Australia and they say that it is too costly to ship as a return.
A good outcome indeed Thanks Amazon
