Superman Returns is really a reboot to be honest. Despite the harsh criticisms, I'd say it's equally as good as Man of Steel - just with all the opposite problems.

The films overall equate pretty equally in my opinion. However, it's the fact that Superman IV doesn't destroy the core values of the character that gives it an edge for me. |

I only saw MoS for the firet time a couple months ago. I liked the beginning with the Kryton stuff, and some of the developeiing of Clark, but the long overdrawn videogame fight scenes really put a bad taste in my mouth. It's too bloated of a movie, and it feels too self aware too. I'd rank all the Reeve movies above it.
I'm one of three people that actually enjoyed Superman Returns too. The story was good, and I thought Spacey was a good Lex. Routh wasn't the best superman however, but I'd still rank that one over MoS too. |

I received this in a jiffy bag (?!) and there is a small dent at the back and underneath the top of the paper slip, near the top left of the steelbook, there is a scratch. I wish they had put this in a box, as I'm sure they must have larger steelbook boxes
Obviously I won't be able to get a replacement as this has now sold out. I do want to keep it so I will be contacting Zavvi to see if they can offer me a partial refund. I've never had to do this before as I've usually been able to get a replacement, or if something is extremely limited, I've received it undamaged |

TQFP has Reeve, MOS doesn't. It's just that simple. The only actor I'll ever consider Superman. How is this set then? I've heard it's flimsy metal. I wish that SR horse-dung wasn't included. |

Superman Returns is supposed to be the final movie in that movie series, continuity-wise. That's why Routh was basically hired to play Reeve, not Clark Kent/Superman. It technically belongs in the set. SOMEHOW, it's supposedly takes place 5 years after Superman II.
