Yeah, the game clearance are sometimes doable (as far as finding them). So I believe they are somewhat national. But I almost *NEVER* see movies in those clearance endcaps, and usually when they have any at all the clearance prices are a joke. I think movies are far more YMMV, rarely national.

I did once have a major Target score on a YMMV clearance (one store only - this was years ago, but they had a whole selection of clearance blu-rays for $1.94-$3 and multiple selections of each - including Psycho, Flash Gordon, Sky Captian, 30 Days of Night and a few others... this was way back when the "best prices" were $10 so it was quite bizarre to get a bunch basically for $2 each). So it's definitely worth looking into, I usually take a glance whenever I'm in target just because of that one find. The OP might have just come across one of those, I'd definitely grab that 5th Element remaster if I saw it.

Took a trip today to get drinks. As as I posted earlier, my experience with Target clearance more often than not is crappy Blu/DVDs and even crappier prices, but great game deals. That was the case today too. (But don't get me wrong, I do score a decent movie deal every once in a while.)

The best of the Blu deals was American Hustle with a (probably) mangled slip for $7.xx, but since that's been $5 at BBY and Big Lots before, no thanks.

Did score a couple of PS4 games though, Alien Isolation and Toy Soldiers, for $10 and $6 respectively.

Toy Soldiers is a floater though, so it'll be going back. I always check when I get to the car, and I forgot to this time...grrr. Thankfully, the store is relatively close by.

Lime La Croix isn't bad, but I prefer Perrier and Syfo for that flavor.

Still, you're making me want to give the lime version of La Croix another chance.

I know its ridiculous to think to do this (or diabolically smart depending on how you look at it)

But whats to stop me from say buying a bunch of blu rays etc that are online only at MSRP and just return in store, and play the old waiting game for them to push them to clearance. I AM NOT SAYING ANYONE SHOULD DO THIS! I am simply saying their system is kind of dumb if it is that predictable.

Went to another Target. The deals were even worse, lol. Amazing Spider-Man (not sure whether it was 1 or 2) was something ridiculous like $16.xx. There were a couple of other lukewarm deals along those lines. Nothing worth noting. There were some online returns too, so to the person who talked about gaming that system earlier, don't even bother, because those prices also sucked.

At least I managed to convince the lady at the front to give me the Harry Potter poster for free that I was supposed to get when I bought the book. (You can actually buy it though. It's less than $2 if you want it.)

All that was at my Target was three Lucy Steelbooks for 10 and change each. Not a bad deal, but considering you could have snagged one for $5 a few months back, also not the greatest.
There was also Walking Dead seasons 1 to 3 with t-shirt for $60. Not much of a clearance price there.

I once tried Cucumber-Melon Gatorade and that was possibly the foulest thing I've tasted in my life.

I like cucumbers, but to flavor a beverage or water? Hell to the no.
