Shout Factory's recent DVD doesn't look bad at all. It's a huge step up from the old bootlegs.

I had to pick this up, the Rolling Stones' performance is truly 'Off the Hook' ...

I've got that and am hoping to hear some comparison opinions before I spring for the BD.

Do not pass go or collect $200, just go order this right away. AMAZING! It's worth it not just for the image quality upgrade, but the TNT Show is fantastic! Tina Turner, Ray Charles, The Byrds, Bo Diddley, the Ronettes, and a fantastic set by Roger Miller. Worth ten times the price they are charging for this.

Commentary By Director Steve Binder
Original Trailer With Optional "Trailers From Hell" Commentary By John Landis
Original T.A.M.I. Show Radio Spots
All of THE T.A.M.I. SHOW (1964) DVD Extras (Plus an additional commentary track!) have been carried over to the Blu-ray; plus THE BIG T.N.T. SHOW (1966) has a few additional Extras!:

And yes, The Beach Boys segment IS included on the Blu-ray, so there's NO nasty surprises there!

What's more? There's even a 36 page booklet included, the type of Bonus that's almost unheard of outside of Box Sets and Digibooks, these days!

I'm definitely ALL IN for this disc, at some point!

CHEERS!

might be a little tough for the Canadians to get in store
Technically, Wal-Mart Canada is carrying it, but of course, our local Brick & Mortar outlet didn't have it in stock when I checked this past Sunday! They do list this online for $26.97 CDN.

If anything, I was shocked to find that Best Buy Canada doesn't list it AT ALL, as the former Future Shop where our local BB now sits was where I purchased THE T.A.M.I. SHOW (1964) DVD a few years back; whereas our Wal-Mart NEVER carried this title! Weird!

At the moment, I'm rather torn as ironically Shout! Factory is also releasing the 2016 WORLD SERIES Blu-ray set, which I also REALLY want! However, at the moment, it appears that the high Amazon Canada price point will likely scotch that purchase, as the bloody $69.99 price point NEVER went down a single red cent! Pre-ordering from them can be really frustrating, at times! I mean, couldn't they have even marked the effing price down a lousy 5 bucks, as I know damn well DID happen for the same item on U.S. Amazon awhile back? All I ask for is a fair shake, for bloody gawd sake! Is this too much to ask?

OK, end of rant....For now!

CHEERS!

I've ordered this set via Amazon Canada, and should be getting it on Thursday to put under the Tree.

For those who have THE T.A.M.I. SHOW (1964) DVD and don't wish to upgrade for whatever reason, THE BIG T.N.T. SHOW (1966) is also available as a standalone DVD on Amazon for $13.99: https://www.amazon.com/Big-T-N-T-Sho...X399R32F1QR3R7

CHEERS!

In my opinion, it's definitely well worth the upgrade from DVD, plus THE BIG TNT SHOW (1966) disc also includes a few nice extras!

I’m watching this for the first time. Priceless!!! If anybody appreciates good music and the 60s, you must see this. What an awesome time capsule of an incredible era of music. Words escape me in finding the right words to describe how good this is.
