Man I used to be a Ray Ban man and then went on to Oakley's. After that I kinda gave them up (and the high prices) for some el cheapo gift ones (i believe from old navy).

Sweet thread! Maybe you all can help me. I had some D&G's and they were ok. However I am looking for sunglasses that have the really BRIGHT COBALT BLUE lenses.

I know oakley had some, but I don't know which. $250/300 is my max on a pair of shades.

You might want to look at mine above. They'd be in your price range.

Oakley Minute's. They are over 5 years old but I recently sent them to oakley for new lenses and arms for only 50.00. I love them but might look at some of the new minute 2.0's

7 dollar Aviator Glasses. My wife and many friends think I look like Jack from Lost with them on.

But from time to time I still sport my orange lenses in my original Sliders from Smith !

I see them. Look very nice. However the ones I am seeking have a more round/ovalish lens.

Oakley Juliet with the X-Metal frame. I used to buy a new pair of sunglasses every year (always Oakley, their lenses are top notch), but I've had these for three years and still have no desire for anything different. To me, they're perfect. Whenever I want something new, I just buy a new set of lenses. Right now I'm rolling with the Fire Polarized lenses (awesome lenses), but I've also got the Black Iridium and Ruby Iridium (the ones from X-Men) lenses. They're pricey, but well worth it.

I had a $275 pair of Rudy Project glasses not too long ago that I ended up losing on the Tower of Terror ride at the MGM Studios in Orlando. Since then I've been wearing $20 sunglasses for obvious reasons.

I lost a nice pair of Bolle sunglasses that way as well, since then lets hear it for Pac-Sun's Aviators deal.

I've never been crazy about Ray Bans to tell you the truth. But, if you got a deal on it then good for you. I'm not one to pay full price for things anyway.

Haha, who said anything about Ray-Bans? I'm talking about their $15 Aviators,

They still look sharp - always get complimented on them and asked what brand they are.
