Does anyone here have Oakley sunglasses in Team Dark Red?

I am looking to purchase a pair of Oakley sunglasses from their website "custom" made. I want to get the Flak Jacket in red but their generated pictures of the colors are pretty misleading. For example Metallic Red is way darker in real life than it is in the CG photo.

So I was wondering if anyone here has the Flak Jacket in Team Red or Team Dark Red and if anyone can post pictures of how they look.

I tried searching on the web but any pictures I find are all too small or unclear. I tried eBay as well but all the listings are for either Lipstick Red (which I definitely don't want) or Metallic Red (which I do not want either).

Please help! I don't want to drop $150 bucks on something I can't return if I do not like. That's the deal with custom stuff. You can't return or exchange 'em!

I don't, however I've had 2 pairs of Oakley's, invested around $300 in total and got under 2 yrs of regular use out them. No, I'm not hard on them, all I do is wear them.

I actually thank Oakley, because I now spend around $20 bucks a pair, and they last just as long.

Gotta love eye insurance! My vision is only like %5 off perfect in one eye. Insurance paid for everything!

go somewhere like Sunglass Hut and have them order them for you - Sunglass Hut has a good return policy and their prices aren't any more than you would find at any reputable Oakley Dealer.

I have a pair of Half Jacket XLJs that I purchased just over 3 yrs ago...still perfect with no issues - you will like the option to change out lenses to meet what you are doing - I have 4 different sets (3 came with the glasses in an "Array" pack) and switch them out all the time - the only other expense I have is buying new frame rubbers when I lost a nose piece.

Sorry I can't help you with the color as mine are all black.

Cool, guys. Thanks for all the input. I do have a pair of Juliets and I like them a lot. It's just sometimes they feel a little heavy on my nose so I wanted to get something a bit lighter.

I did check two Sunglass Huts and both turned me down on getting them. They weren't dicks about it, though. They just said they were unable to order the custom ones.

No biggie. I'll figure something out. Thanks again for all the help.

Mike..get me some gascans and I'll pay you $50...I want the poly lenses, though...
