Odd that they don't mention how many films this collection will include. There's also this:

Usually they'd be the exact same release, so the wording is interesting. Could it indeed be that the UK gets 1-4 while the US only gets 1-2? Can't see how they'd get the rights to 3 and 4.

"Collection" certainly implies the entire series, except "III", of course, which doesn't even exist. Maybe by "both" release they mean there's going to be standalone releases in addition to a box set? Either way, great news!!

Maybe this Friday or next Friday they'll be February announcements and we'll find out then.

I interpreted "Both Releases" to simply mean the original film and the sequel. If they go the usual Limited Edition/Standard edition route that could also be what they meant by "Both".

Cool. I only just picked up the old Anchor Bay DVD a few months ago (bundling the first and second House film), but I'll be happy to upgrade.

III is "The Horror Show", which already had a release from Scream Factory here in the states....unless there's some weird loophole that allowed Arrow to put out the House III cut with the uncensored gore.

About time these two movies get the HD treatment, great news!!

But...seeing this is Arrow I'll temper my enthusiasm a bit. Arrow does great packaging and extra's but my main concern is the way the movie itself looks and sounds, and we all know too many missteps have happened regarding that aspect.

After the f... up with Bride Of Re-Animator's mono sound, I am holding out on all Arrow releases till I see some reviews and more importantly, till there's enough info to be found in a topic on this site concerning PQ/AQ.

It's definitely House - that tagline is in one of the trailers for the movie. I just hope it's both movies - (<edit> they said "both releases," so I guess we're good!)

Huh? Are you getting them mixed up with Scream Factory? I haven't heard of too many (if any) botched releases by Arrow. They are one of the best!
